The Hon'ble Members of the Parliament assist in the formulation of national policies on education and are directly involved in the drafting and passing of acts, rules and regulations concerning management, development, capacity building etc., of the education sector institutions and other regulatory and development matters of the Ministry |

Encourage discussion, cooperation and collaboration among the members of Parliament on matters related to development of education |

Promote dialogue and interaction between Parliamentarians, on the one hand, and social, economic and education planners and administrators, on the other, about how to improve the effectiveness of education service delivery |

Organize dialogue at the constituency level on ways to improve the implementation of development projects |

Remove legislative obstacles standing on the way of implementation of the development policies |

Reform, propose and review legislation regarding education particularly those related to female education and poverty reduction |

Ensure allocation of public resources to support education programs and projects |

Support social movement aimed to create people's awareness on literacy campaigns particularly for women |

Continue to support national programs to increase women's participation in economic, social and political life |

Enhance public participation in education program. For this purpose, involve upazilla and union level public representatives, and meet with them on regular basis |

Make efforts to improve the quality of education in their respective constituencies |

Utilize public resources more efficiently considering country's economic constraints |
